The Avia Fellowship is a selective entrepreneurship program designed for ambitious high school students who want to build meaningful entrepreneurial achievements that distinguish them in college admissions and beyond. Whether your goal is to win prestigious entrepreneurship competitions or gain real-world experience through a startup internship, the fellowship provides a structured roadmap that guides students from learning the fundamentals of entrepreneurship to building tangible accomplishments with the support of experienced mentors.
Phase 1: Choose Your Path – Select the Entrepreneurship Competition Scholars pathway, the Startup Internship Scholars pathway, or enroll in both!
Phase 2: Entrepreneurship Foundations – Build a strong understanding of startups, finance, venture capital, investing, business strategy, innovation, and the core principles of entrepreneurship through a comprehensive foundation curriculum.
Phase 3: Track Specific Work – Work through guided milestones with mentorship to build an award-winning startup for prestigious entrepreneurship competitions, secure meaningful startup internship experience, or accomplish both pathways.

Cornell '30 & Blue Ocean Challenge Place Grand Award Winner
While in high school, Pravith won a prestigious Grand Prize at the Blue Ocean Entrepreneurship Competition, selected from more than 23,000 pitches representing 173 countries. He also interned at Convexia (YC S25), where he sourced drug assets to support the company's portfolio strategy. He was accepted to both UC Berkeley, one of the world's leading public universities, and Cornell University, an Ivy League institution. Pravith will ultimately attend Cornell, where he will study Applied Economics while pursuing advanced coursework in biology.
Research Intern @ US Navy SEAP Labratory & Blue Ocean Challenge Grand Award Winner
While in high school, Aarnav Trivedi conducted research as a Research Intern at the U.S. Navy SEAP Laboratory and earned a prestigious Grand Prize at the Blue Ocean Entrepreneurship Competition. The fellowship is open to motivated high school students from around the world. No prior entrepreneurial experience is required. Our fellowship is designed to support both domestic and international students, and the entrepreneurship competitions we prepare students for are open to participants globally.
Yes. The fellowship follows a structured learning pathway, but students complete the curriculum and milestones at their own pace while receiving ongoing mentorship and support. Students can also schedule a one-on-one meeting with one of our mentors at any time!
Students may choose between the Entrepreneurship Competition Scholars pathway, the Startup Internship Scholars pathway, or complete both pathways for a more comprehensive entrepreneurial experience.
No. Many students begin without an idea. The fellowship guides students through brainstorming, customer discovery, market research, and idea validation before they begin building.
Absolutely. The fellowship is open to students from around the world.
Tuition begins at $3,000 for a single pathway. Students may enroll in either the Entrepreneurship Competition Scholars pathway or the Startup Internship Scholars pathway. Families who choose to enroll in both pathways receive bundled pricing, with tuition totaling $5,000 instead.
Yes. Avia Education offers limited need-based financial assistance to qualified students. Families may request financial assistance during the application process, and awards are determined based on demonstrated financial need and available funding.
Yes. The Avia Fellowship is a fully online program, allowing students from around the world to participate. The curriculum is self-paced, while mentorship, office hours, workshops, and networking opportunities are held virtually throughout the year.
